My client on the Southside of Jacksonville has a DIRECT HIRE position for a CNC Programmer.

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour to start

MUST HAVE: CNC Programming experience! This is NOT a CNC Machinist position.

Hours: 6 AM – 2:30 PM or 8 AM – 4:30 PM



The main purpose of this position is to efficiently program the CNC to enable us to process 425 SF per day of stone and quartz surfaces in an eight hour shift. Digitize field templates and produce shop drawings for customer approval. Maintain a current digital library of sink and cooktop specifications. Create and maintain digital library of builder kitchen and bath plans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Limit to 8 tasks or less)

1.Master the management of our CNC stonecutter. Program tool paths using Alphacam software. Assemble “loads” that maximize run-time efficiency. Reduce our dependency on vendor support for new tool additions, etc.
2.Understand and interpret customer plans, specifications, and addenda. Verify job file information against field template information and notify Sales of discrepancies and questions
3.Digitize field templates
4.Create shop drawings and submit to Customer for approval
5.Meet with Customers for slab layout approval
6.Update job tracking system on completed and in-process work. Compile and submit square footage reports. Assist in researching rework root causes.
7.Create and maintain digital libraries of sink and appliance cutouts and builder plans
8.Perform field templating as necessary. Set up and operate CNC as necessary.
