Service Manager (South FL)
Privately held international heavy equipment manufacturer is leading a search for a Service Manager who will be accountable for the department parts sales operations, and work orders and requisitions ensuring the effective operation of all Service Department functions internally, locally, nationally and internationally.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
New project field commissioning and related supplemental project coordination.
Responsible for ISO documentation and to ensure compliance with all ISO procedures and work instructions within the department.
Responsible for the supervision, training (classroom/practical) and development of subordinates including but not limited to certification, employee counseling, ranking and evaluations.
Work with management to track and investigate warranty claims on all jobs.
New product punch list resolution.
Able and prepared for “hands on” work when necessary.
24-hour on call availability for service and client emergencies.
The qualified candidate must have the following:
BA degree or equivalent plus exceptional knowledge of mechanical and hydraulically driven equipment; i.e. diesel engines (CAT or John Deere) operations and repair, electronic controls and circuits operation.
Prior experience in a customer facing, post sales service position. Ability to resolve problems and meet tight deadlines.
