Description: Director of Manufacturing

Privately held international heavy equipment manufacturer is leading a search for a Director of Manufacturing to oversee, mentor and guide a manufacturing management team and all factory operations. Responsibilities include the management of projects (concept to implementation; Lean Manufacturing Concepts highly desired) and staff to manufacture and test products (existing and new) that satisfy customer specifications and regulatory standards.

The qualified candidate must have the following:
BA in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration
Minimum 10 years of related manufacturing experience (metal working, welding, fabrication, rotating machining, industrial painting, or related)
Minimum 5 years experience in staff management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus proficiency in all MS Office applications
Experience with paint, coating, and exposure to SSPC requirements preferred

Big picture strategists with the ability to execute tactical manufacturing projects are encouraged to send a resume in confidence to.
