INDUSTRIAL SALES PROFESSIONAL
Responsible for developing new sales to industrial and manufacturing clients. This position is also responsible for managing existing accounts and continued identification and development of opportunities with these accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Become an expert at mining for sales leads.
Identify new sales opportunities and focus on those best able to generate optimum profitability.
Create specific plans to facilitate the sales process and obtain new business.
Build and maintain strong business relationships.
Actively seek to learn technical aspects of the products you sell and their applications.
Develop general market knowledge of competitor product offerings.
Be able to present and close opportunities.
Strive to exceed sales objectives.
Be a contributing member of a sales team and work with colleagues to share information and follow internal best-practices specific to the company and industry.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
Five (5) years experience in B2B sales
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
Five (5) years experience in B2B sales with minimum two (2) years experience in industrial sales.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Strong communication skills.
Impeccable organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
A proven track record of being a well-rounded sales professional, with the ability to excel at the entire sales process; from finding a lead to closing the sale.
Experience in the filtration industry desired but not required.
