Position: Medical Receptionist
Job category: Health Care
Description: MRI/CT facility seeking an individual to fill a MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST position located in Jax Beach. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient registration, faxing medical reports, preparing patients for exams, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, collecting co-pays, answering phones, and other general administrative functions. This position involves a lot of multi-tasking and cross training to ensure that the front desk receptionists can handle a variety of job duties. Minimum 1 year recent medical office experience is REQUIRED. Must be dependable and have an excellent job attendance record. (Individuals that have a history of frequent unplanned absences from work and chronic tardiness should not apply.) Must be friendly with a professional appearance and have the ability to think and work independently.
