Elite Amenities seeks Lifeguards who are professional, responsible, dependable and enthusiastic for positions in and around the Jacksonville area – specifically from Fernandina Beach to mid-Jax and down to northern St. John’s County. Applicant must possess strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills and be focused on safety of residents and attentive to customer service for high end communities. Full time and part time hours available.
Must have dependable transportation and cell phone with texting capabilities.
Preferred applicants are Red Cross Certified Lifeguards
with experience in lifeguarding.
Not certified? Red Cross training will be provided for non-certified applicants for a fee of $160 (payable by cash, check, or credit card). Classes offered in March & May. NOTE: March classes start 3/16, reserve by 3/15.
Re-certification training for LG and CPR/FA is also available.
Pool Monitor positions must possess CPR and FA current certification. Classes also available for Red Cross certification.
Typical duties will include but are not limited to:
-Maintaining a SAFE environment at all times
-Supervising the pool
-Ensuring that all members and guests have a safe, clean and enjoyable experience
-Ensuring access for members and guest only
-Performing chemical checks under the direction of the Facility Manager
-Clean up of the aquatic center during operating hours
-Attending in-service training with staff monthly.
This is a seasonal position with a desired start date of
part-time hours in March 2010, full time beginning in June through Sept. 2010. Request that guards commit to work through the season.
Pay scale based on experience. Beginning pay $8/hour.
