Description: Full-time Office Manager for busy Chiropractic Clinic. Looking for someone who is seeking long-term employment that does not have numerous commitments outside of work.

Education and Training: College and chiropractic experience a plus

Salary: Based on Experience

Supervise workers to make sure their job is done efficiently

Decide what administrative support is needed for each department

Help hire and train new staff members

Redefine job duties to achieve maximum efficiency

Planning and developing work schedules

Act as a liaison between the office staff and the doctor

Should be decisive, observant and innovative, as well as display analytical ability and tact

Must be knowledgeable of medical coding and billing to oversee the billing department.

Specific duties will include:

1. Maintain office services:

-Design and implement office policies

-Establish standards and procedures

-Organize office operations and procedures

-Supervise office staff

-Prepare time sheets

-Control correspondences

-Review and approve supply requisitions

-Liaise with other agencies, organizations and groups

-Update organizational memberships

- Maintain office equipment

-Schedule and supervise office meetings

2. Supervise office staff:

-Assign and monitor clerical and secretarial functions

- Recruit and select office staff

- Orient and train employees

-Provide on the job and other training opportunities

- Evaluate staff performance

-Coaching and disciplining staff

3. Maintain office records:

- Design filing systems

-Ensure filing systems are maintained and up to date

-Define procedures for record retention

- Ensure protection and security of files and records

-Ensure effective transfer of files and records between offices

- Ensure personnel files are up to date and secure

4. Maintain office efficiency

Main Activities:

- Plan and implement office systems, layout and equipment procurement

- Check stock to maintain and replenish inventory

- Anticipate needed supplies

-Verify receipt of supply
