Cableview Communications is a leader in the communications industry. We are growing rapidly and currently have job openings in Jacksonville St. Augustine, and Lake City and Brunswick, GA. Income ranges from $30s to over $60,000 a year and is generally paid on a piece rate basis.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Must be able to carry and climb a 28-foot, 80-pound extension ladder and work with hand and power tools.
Strong work ethic relating to quality and attendance.
Experience a plus, but will train the right candidate.
Must have own pick-up truck, van, or SUV
Availability to work weekends and evenings
Maintain a safe work environment by following safe practices
Background check, drug screen and valid drivers license required
Ability to interact well with customers, including answering questions
Duties:
Accurately complete essential paperwork.
Establish cable TV service by installing cable TV systems, equipment; verifying system performance; maintaining records
You will be responsible for installing Cable TV, Telephone & High Speed Internet in customer's homes.
Reviewing installation orders and gathering equipment, supplies, and tools necessary to complete the job; coordinating schedules with customers.
Evaluate location to locating access and layout equipment and wiring plan.
Establish cable TV system by installing equipment; running and pulling TV cable; programming and calibrating equipment; adhering to codes, regulations, and standards.
Verify cable TV system functioning by testing equipment and connections and identifying and correcting problems.
Maintain and improve service by listening to customer's description of problems; diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing problems; replacing and upgrading components; referring to schematics, manuals, and manufacturers' instructions.
Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
