Speck Pumps is a small manufacturing company in Jacksonville, Florida employing up to 32 people. The manufacturing facility assembles, tests and packages pumps, filters, equipment packs, jet systems and related equipment for swimming pools and spas. It distributes throughout North and South America. The parts for the assembly process are supplied by other sister companies in Germany, Spain, South Africa and China.
Speck is looking for an enthusiastic, sharp, detail oriented individual to provide a positive experience for our customers when they call Speck Pumps. This individual should be a friendly outgoing person who enjoys working with people and has the experience and confidence to efficiently handle a busy twelve line phone system.
The successful candidate will have a minimum five years experience working a phone system and performing receptionist duties. Candidate should have a working knowledge of general accounting practices from previous work experience. The candidate will have good communication skills and a natural sense of organization and leadership. Computer knowledge is a must!
Speck actively supports after hours continuing education classes in related skills such as computer software, sales and professional associations.
Speck offers a competitive starting salary which will depend upon the depth of experience and skills. After a successful three month trial period, a benefit package is available including major medical, dental, disability and life insurance. Speck Pumps pays 80% of the premium including family coverage.
At the one year mark, 10 paid vacation days and up to 6.5 days of paid personal leave per calendar year can be earned.
