Full & Part-time Positions Available For residential group homes and adult day training program. Prefer experience in residential home settings as well as following behavior programs, but will consider training right persons. Also, need a strong person to assist in management of young adult with some physical disabilities. Days, evenings and weekends- flexible schedules. Group homes located between Southside Blvd 2 Blks. South of Atlantic Blvd. & between Hodges Blvd. & San Pablo Rd. Adult Day Training program is located on San Jose Blvd. Drug Free work places. Equal Opportunity Employer. Positions includes working with people who are deaf/blind, non-verbal and multi-sensory impaired. Residential duties include: assisting/supporting consumers with simple meal preparation, household chores, showering, toileting, tooth brushing, personal shopping, group home shopping, haircuts, eating out (other various community activities when appropriate),and other activities of daily living. Adult Day Training Center duties include: social, communication, sensory activities, recreational, motor skills, theraputics, etc., supporting/ training/intervening with persons who are mutl-sensory impaired. Must be out going, hands on person, who exhibits good TEAM qualities. Must be able to drive, have an active drivers license and a clean driving record. Willing to learn various alternative communication methods. Background Screening and Drug test required. Salary range: $ 7.25 to $ 8.50/per hour.
