Work in a casual dress "Beaches" office location in Jacksonville Beach. This job requires weekend availability. Hours are 8-10 hours per day plus breaks. It is 30 hours per week with an opportunity to go to full time 40 hours after training.
Hours will be between 8:30 am to 8 pm except Saturday which is 9:30 am to 6 pm and Sunday 12 - 6 pm. Pay is $12 per hour. There will be a rotation of weekends with other sales staff to be fair to everyone.

We are a rapidly growing property management company with over 200 rental home located in Florida. The right candidate for this job is an outgoing, upbeat person who loves to talk to and correspond with people about vacations and travel, and has the ability to sell.
You will have extensive telephone conversations and email exchanges with our customers who are planning vacations in luxury ocean view and ocean front condos in Florida. Your primary goal is to convert these inquiries into reservations.
40% of the job will be answering emails from customers inquiring about our rentals and responding back. 40% of the job will be answering the telephone and attempting to convert these customers into reservations. 20% of the job will be calling customers who email us. Skills must include excellent telephone communication skills, excellent grammar, email writing ability, computer comfort level (we'll teach you our program), and ability to compute a vacation budget (with our tools). Training curve of approximately 3 months must result in reasonable familiarity with 200 private rentals.
Advancement from trainee to Vacation Rental Sales Specialist targeted at 6 months with opportunity for pay review. Within 3 month, familiarization trip to Palm Coast, Florida (20 miles south of St. Augustine) and within 6 months familiarization trip to Venice Florida required to meet staff and experience product.

We're growing quickly and need an outgoing and motivated person.
Additional skills: must be comfortable working on a computer through out entire work day, strong verbal and English skills, must have exceptional writing and grammar skills, ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment, proven ability to meet/exceed sales goals, previous experience managing a database of prospects and/or accounts is a plus. Ability to work weekend hours is a MUST.
Must be able to diffuse difficult guest relation situations & act quickly in a crisis situation. Knowledge of travel industry is preferred.
Qualifications: Possess a valid driver's license.
Minimum of 2 years selling experience required (preferably in the travel industry). Strong customer service and communication skills are required. We desire someone with a willingness to actively participate both in a team environment and as an individual contributor while possessing the ability to adapt to change.
This position pays $12 per hour. It is a 30 hour per week position with varying hours depending on scheduled work days.
