| Description: |
Temporary full-time trainee position designed to offer candidate exposure to all aspects of newscast production. Trainee will develop skills in producing a newscast, writing, communication, organization, creating ideas for news graphics and coordinating live or taped stories from the field.
Note: This position has a maximum duration of 12 months. There is no guarantee of subsequent employment with Post-Newsweek Stations.
Prefer applicants with college degree in related area or some experience in a television news department. Must have good writing and communication skills and a strong interest in a career as a television news producer. Must be able to work flexible hours, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
